I am now regularly teaching at at two home circles, and seeing people grow as they themselves connect with their guides and loved ones in spirit is beautiful indeed.

I have also started working away from the Spiritualist church, though they will always remain in my heart, my roots as it were for the work I am now going to undertake

I recently visited this atmospheric location, some of the rooms are absolutely stunning lending an air of authority as well as intrigue. Some footsteps along with a bright flash of light were reported as was the presence of a monkey running around loose.

A most telling episode however was towards the end of the event, all but four people were sat within the coach house, a small group outside taking photographs, the flash of the camera making it seem as though it was lightening outside. A good majority of the group were asking if a person was stood to the bottom right hand corner of the room nearest the door. "yes there is" I replied, but not the detail of this person.....3 members of the group reported seeing a man in a top hat and dark clothing stood in this spot, yet when the torches were put on, no one was there....a gasp rose up from the group....an apparition it seems

I have been thinking of creating a portfolio of my artwork from the very beginning back in 1998 when my drawings were in pencil and some charcoal - around the turn of the year some colour had begun to appear, then experimenting in water colours, chalk pastels and finally into soft pastels.

It was quite funny looking back at some of my work from October, November 1998, almost like peering into someone elses life,

What is planned at the moment is putting together a semblance of how I have developed as a psychic artist, from the initial conception to the more refined artwork of today.

I have been feeling quite out of it of late, well since around the first week of July, spaced out even, feelings of listlessness, apathy and generally can't be bothered attitude. What surprised me however is that I am far from alone in these feelings.

A lot of mediums who I have spoken to over the past couple of weeks have all expressed the same or similar feelings, could this be the ears magnetic energy changing or having taken a shift? thankfully it has finally worked its way out now, thank goodness.

Well I have finally got off my backside and over the past couple of weeks have worked diligently in updating my spirit/ghost database.

It provides a snapshot into the paranormal over an eight year period, having visited 68 different locations on various occasions, and amassed some very detailed reports on the various ghosts and spirits at these various locations.

The data base itself helps to provide analysis on which time of year is the most active, do anniversaries play a part in the activity and of course with being able to see spirit and ghost energies very clearly, the details of the attire can lead to ascertaining which time period is most prolific.

Any ideas as to how to employ the analysis is greatly appreciated.

The galleries of justice event took place on the 13th May, some good activity having taken place, some noises in the large courtroom along with the appearance of a metal rod in the youth court later in the event.

Several noises were heard in the cave area, and the doorway leading between the cave and the chapel are was also banged upon.

It was nice to once more return to this picturesque building, a fantastic Tudor manor house, set in the heart of Bromwich.

There was a lot of activity throughout the event, some people feeling a little queasy, others having their hair pulled or their arm stroked, even though they were each holding hands with the person to either side of them.

Footsteps sounded from the stairway leading to the first floor landing, yet all of us were on the ground floor, loud noises where heard from the adjacent room to where we were stood, shadows moved in the darkness, yet no one there to cast them!!!!

Lympne Castle

I was glad of the opportunity to return once more to this very atmospheric castle. It was a little foggy to say the least which lent a cereal quality to the heavy emotional feelings that lay heavily like the fog over the building.

The evening was quite active, flashes of light, people having their pockets pulled whilst holding hands with people to either side of them, others strong sensations of sickness, dizziness and extreme sensations of heat.

Dudley Castle

I had a welcome return to Dudley castle on the 19th February - the emotions carpeted the castle like a thick fog.

After a brief tour of the castle as I relayed the events unfolding around me, guards attired in blue and yellow as they crossed in front of a stone gateway, the sounds of battle as people fought for their lives, musket shot and cannon along with the heat of the flame seemed for a while to light up the castle itself, and the sounds of drumming getting ever louder............

Whilst stood inside the castle a long dark corridor leading from one room to the next, a shuffling and a couple of steps were heard by an expectant audience, thank CRASH - the noise of a cardboard we had usurped to hook over and stifle the light shed from a fire exit light suddenly came crashing down, the crowd moved as fish in a shoal.....eager to be away.

My artwork has once more taken another step, a lot of depth is now being emphasised, and marks a return to a more detailed phase of the drawings. I must admit to being a little taken aback at how they now seem to be drawing themselves onto the paper, the depth of emotion is clearly being felt not only by myself but to those kind and loving friends who have over the past couple of days added their own thoughts of how the drawings speak to them.

I was fortunate to return to this very atmospheric building for a paranormal investigation on the

weekend of 29th January 2011

Despite the cold of the evening, the group of people in attendance were very open minded and enthusiastic throughout, and lovely to work with.

The night was an average night to be honest, besides people feeling sensations of sickness, tight chested, and ill at ease, there were times were people reported seeing lights, and this from a location which was at this time roped off due to maintenance work being carried out on a stair way and therefore not accessible, together with everyone including the security guard being accounted for.

Everyone heard loud thuds and noises akin to a door being slammed, again a good distance away from where we all where. Some of these raps were so loud as to cause people to jump in mild fright.

All in all, a very good location to visit.

I was invited to take part in this charity event hosted by ACTION AID and hosted on 17th January, officially the most depressing day of the year and labled BLUE MONDAY

This event brought together a number of people who were raising awareness of the plight of the world around us, helping people to be happy, to be thankful for what they already had.

My brand of psychic art was by way of helping people, talking of the colours within a person's aura, and representing it as a drawing on a pastel paper. People were generally amazed at how much information was presented to them, the hue of colours and symbology arrayed before them brought lots of questions, lots of laughs and in some cases helped them to move forwards in their life.

I was there from a little after 9am and left around 1pm - and though a little wet on the outside, I certainly felt very warm on the inside, a big smile on my face, and lots of love in an open heart.

Dudley Castle

On the 5th November I returned to the very atmospheric location that is Dudley castle. The

group of people in attendance on the event were very interactive which led to some interesting

phenomenon being witnessed.

Whilst in the zodiac room one of the group reported that her camera had fallen onto the floor,

nothing paranormal in that I hear you say, yet when you consider that her purse was still

zipped, coupled with both the testimony from her friend that this was so, and the very worried

look on her face spoke volumes.

One person was having their shoulder tapped at the time they were holding hands with the person to either side of them. There were in this same room two incidents of people having objects thrown at them. Try as we could, we found nothing what so ever as being the cause for this......

Halloween at The galleries

The Galleries of Justice is a very imposing building, and within its wall lurk a multitude of ghosts, and as you descend through the many floors, it is as if you are stepping back in time..........

Two ladies on different vigils felt hand upon their breasts, yet the group stood holding hands, keys were heard jangling and and throttled noises issued forth from ghostly lips.....

Diet continued

Well there has been some movement within my diet regime!!!

I now regularly undertake cardio exercises up to 5 times a week for a half hour duration, sometimes increasing this to a 45 minute session. I have an elliptical trainer which gets the heart level raised along with much sweat too. Secondly I have a low end rowing machine, only set to level five at its maximum, though this did take several weeks to attain, I now use this setting for all my rowing. Thirdly I have a high end exercise bike, plugged into the mains for the display and electromagnetic difficulty settings, no more flywheels with cheap belts for tension........

I have in 9 weeks gone from 12 stone 2 pounds to 10 stone 12 - a healthier waistline too - and increased cardiovascular fitness.......

Time for some new clothes!!!!

Halloween

It has been a little while since my last blogg - I have been so busy, which in itself is a very good thing, as it provides for more interaction with the public.

I was at the Galleries of justice on Friday the 29th and 31st of October, resulting in some very interesting phenomenon taking place. Footsteps were heard where no person was to be found, chains were heard rattling along an empty corridor, keys jangled whilst hanging on a hook, people standing well clear so as not to accidentally move them; whilst a strangled cry issued forth into a dark and dingy cell......reports of both events to follow later in the week (www.aura-artz.co.uk)

On the 30th I visited Belgrave hall in Leicester, a fantastic venue, and one which holds much promise for future investigations....

Diet

Hi all - after much contemplation and some proverbial kicking up the backside, I have decided to get down to loosing some weight.

Part of the reason is self image, egotistical I dare say, never the less, I do not feel overly happy with the way I look, my stomach pushing hard against my trousers and belt.

A second part of the reason is of health, as being overweight can have its impact upon general health issues. I also believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind, and with the increase in workload taking place also necessitates me getting off my backside.

So the tale of the tape - weight 12 stone 2 - 42 inch chest and 37 inch waistline - I am thus aiming to lose 11 kilos and bring me back down to 10 stone 7 and a couple or three trouser sizes down too.

To think I used to be a fitness fanatic, running an average 5 and a half minute mile over distance and with my weight training, could squat 30 stone.

Starting training as well as changing my life style brought some stark realisations, of what I could not now do, to be honest it brought tears to my eyes and some self disgust, natural I dare say, though I am very determined to succeed - I further aim to have a solid six pack by this time next year.

colour workshop

The colour workshop hosted by www.spiritualroots.co.uk took place on 15th August at 10 am. There was a full house consisting of lovely people who were eager to learn, lots of questions asked, leading to more questions and fantastic interaction.

I feel that a lot was learned, from student and teacher, questions leading to other questions some quite thought provoking, stimulating. The colours which were sensed and seen around each of the people were interpreted by the themselves with some surprising results.

The aura photography which took place later in the afternoon reinforced what people had seen themselves, helping to build upon what had been learned earlier in the day, and to build upon the confidence levels of all.

I must admit to being quite impressed with the level of interaction upon this event, the group of people were interactive and keen to interact which lead to such a high level of activity.

The latrine block used during the second world war as both a toilet and a shower block for the soldiers manning the guns were undoubtedly the most active I had experienced at this location. Stones were thrown around the room, the largest of these being a piece of concrete about 3 inches by 1 inch, bland in colour and landed on a table behind where the group where stood. The walls of the latrine area are painted in white, yet the piece of concrete was bland in colour. There were several smaller stones thrown onto the floor and on one occasion several people including myself were hit in the chest area by small stones.

Well worth the visit, and would highly recommend it

I have been a little remiss in not keeping my blog more up to date, hence I would like to catch up with you all.

The last couple of months have been quite hectic, which is good mind you. The aura photography side of my work has seen a great rise in demand, partly I feel to my thorough understanding and interpretation of the colours indicated around people.

There has also been a marked increase in my workshops with trance coming to the fore in many respects, which gladdens my heart as spirit are so much wanting to communicate with people on a deeper level. The trance workshop run at spiritual roots in Leeds was to a packed house and some very good results, and enjoyed by all.

A mini trance workshop and ghost hunt on 7th August at Alcester town hall could prove quite interesting, as it allows to dispel any fears people may have about the subject of trance and provides people with a good opportunity as most in attendance would not have ready access to a medium.

I am demonstrating tonight at Sutton in Ashfield Spiritualist church.

Over the last three days I have been going into my office and calming the mind and letting the pastels paint a picture. It seems a little strange though expectant in a way that the way in which the drawing is completed.

I found myself pacing up and down, feelings of agitation, wanting to slam the colours down to tear up the paper, yet I came to understand that these were the feelings associated with the person for who the drawing is for. The sensitivities inherent with this work have begun to permeate into my perceptions, I gain a deeper insight into what is occurring around the person indicated by association to the drawing.

The symbology depiction too has begun to change, faces and figures appear at will, random images it seems, a depiction of personalities perhaps.

I will post some of the artwork from this demonstration into the blog tomorrow.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is letting go of grudges and embittered feelings caused by being hurt, more so by a person you love. We have a tendency to hold onto anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge, it clouds our hearts with an emptiness, the spark of light that represents our true selves, our spirit within is dulled, a withering flame.

What is forgiveness – it is a conscious choice, a desire to let go our feelings of resentment, though the act of hurt itself may remain a lifetime, a pale memory of its former self, as through the act of forgiveness the icy grip is lessened, the spark of spirit glows ever so bright, the shadow within being cast asunder, a lightness of heart, a smile upon the face once more, a radiance within.

It is not an easy path to tread, yet by taking those first tender steps gladdens a weary heart, and allows for personal and spiritual growth to take place, for in choosing to forgive allows a greater understanding and empathy with the person who caused the hurt, we can see more clearly, for the spark of light we each carry seeks the light of others.

Alcester Town Hall

My first visit to this very picturesque building, not as large as I had anticipated, nevertheless a lot of activity took place.

Witnessed by several people including myself, a glasses case was removed from a closed bag and dropped onto the floor approximately 3 feet away from the chair on which the bag had been placed.

One person reported the sensations of being pinched on their left hand side, bearing in mind people were stood around in a circle, holding hands. On closer inspection they had an angry red welt around the size of my clenched fist.

A couple of people were touched or prodded on the shoulder, back of the legs and head.

Charity mediumship night

On 1st of May a charity evening of mediumship was held at the Queen Adelaide pub in Sneinton, Nottingham, in aid of Heart Links - based in Leicester and helps children with heart problems.

The event was organised by Emma Boswkill, with myself and my fellow colleague Libby Knight presenting the mediumship.

There were 70 people arranged around the room, families and friends laughing and chatting, was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Both Libby and I work in differing ways, with humour, honesty and open hearts. There were the odd tears on the night, but so much laughter our sides hurt.

As Libby commented, "it was so fantastic to have raised so much money, particularly in the current climate, and for such a wonderful charity"

Aura colour and photography workshop

The workshop took place on 17th April 2010

It was a good turn out with people having a good standing of the aura and colour as well as some who did not have to much experience of this subject, so a nice balance was obtained.

I must admit to the group taking on board the dynamics and structure of the human aura very well indeed, with question arising from the teaching being discussed and answered to the satisfaction of the enquirer.

The event ran over the course of the day with a break for some lunch and a walk around the garden to freshen the mind for the practical elements of the workshop. The event culminated in aura photographs being taken and interpreted by the group based upon what they had learned through the day.

My next workshop is taking place on 24th April at Wath upon Derne Spiritualist church 10:30 to 4:30 and will be based upon aura art (refer to www.aura-artz.co.uk) and view my artwork and explanations of how it is completed.

I am currently planning more workshops - so watch this space.

Good day to you all, I have been extremely busy this past few weeks, this is always nice as it keeps the roof over my head and the car on the road, and of course a fat belly with all the pies I have been eating.

A turbulent couple of months have seen an engagement come and go, the shortest on record I dare say. It is nice however that we are both staying as friends, for how can you be some intimate, both physically and emotionally and stay so.

I have also made some inroads into my career, having passed and interview and trail period for www.psychic-TV.com

My readings are beginning to reflect this aspect as I am now able to offer both Spiritualist readings whereby I connect with your loved ones in spirit and psychic readings by way of a suggested future that could take place around you. Each are conducted on a one to one or party booking basis

Clithero Castle

You could see the castle looming into view, standing high on a hill top bathed in the floodlights, an imposing sight.

I was present with three other people whilst waiting in the base room for the rest of the people to arrive for the event. I was joking with one of the hosts for the evening. As this was taking place a large floor broom which at the time was leaning against a wall suddenly move away to a distance of

6 to 10 inches and slammed back against the wall. I was stood approximately 8 feet away whilst the other three people, who were facing towards me and thus were able to verify the activity.

The Electro Magnetic Frequency (EMF) readers were going crazy on the night also, all of which were registering well into the high end activity.

A number of loud bangs were heard in response to the groups interaction.

the colour of disease

This building really sets the scene as far as ghost hunting goes, the visage you are presented with as you round the corner of the small dirt track, a large house more reminiscent with the Adams Family looms before you...............

It was a good night with some interesting phenomenon taking place. The bathroom was a little weird to say the least. For the first time ever on one of these investigations, I was violently sick. The cause I felt was a multiple of having a bad cough, taking some medicine and the energies within the room on the night.

Galleries ghost hunting

The Galleries of Justice in Nottingham never ceases to amaze me with the amount and regularity of paranormal ocurrences. I last visited on the 13th February and whilst working with the group of people in attendance helped them experience the paranormal.

I do at times have to check myself in the fact that to me this is normal, my everyday life evolves around communicating with people passed away. As such to see someone wide eyed with terror brings a realisation of how scared I once was.

One man, part of a small group of people reacting so naturally to being prodded in his side, just above his left hip, he jumped back and expletives issued forth from his lips, the look on his face said it all - for him, a life opened to the possibility that we do continue after death.

In the hanging cell, as you may expect, quite an active area, people are continuously having their hair pulled, their clothes pulled, and prodded.

Life

Isn't it funny what life brings our way, the ups and downs along with the frustations and pure excitement. Working in the way that I do, connecting people with their loved ones, to renew once more the love which can be felt so strongly as the spirit person draws close. I can imagine them stood looking over my shoulder saying, "thats the one I want to talk to, over there" the love at times brings tears to the eye, a lump in the throat, but always in happiness.

It has been through working with spirit, their constant support and humour (not where I derive mine from though) has helped me through some very dark times indeed, times I feel we all must at times walk through, the loss of a loved one, a relationship ended, a pet gone to heaven....all have a profound affect upon us.

Needless to say spirit have always told me that "miss right" was on her way....and into my life she walks. I have found I can fly, I can dare to dream upon fluffy clouds, my heart to sing, the love that has always been there, now finding an outlet which can surely shine like the light of spirit itself.

Thank you too to all my friends who have politely laughed at my jokes, been there for me in times of need, to help pick me up when I have fallen........hugs to you all

It brings such joy in seeing the faces of people as they learn to unfold
their mediumistic abilities, the wonderment and often stark looks of
"WOW" along with the tears of joy - moves me ever so much.

I am currently a Tutor at Safe Haven Spiritual Community situated in Unstone
Grange on the outskirts of Dronfield in Derbyshire. Here over fifty people visit
each Tuesday and Wednesday for the development of mediumship, Healing and
Trance work.

I also teach from my home, having converted my garage into my workroom, the
group here as a lovely group of people having blended together so closely over the
preceeding months, their level of ability reflected not only in their love of spirit but
also thier close bond. It has amazed me in the way in which with the help of spirit
these people have opened their minds to a world seemingly unseen yet ever so close.

I honestly look forward to the time when they too can set forth on their journey into
the wider world and bring joy to so many.

My fist visit to this location, a old jail with the first buildings have been erected around the
mid 17th century. The whole place made you feel ill at ease, partly due to the scene aroun
you, cell after cell seemingly into the heavens, yet below in the dankly lit rooms, the sense of
foreboding, agony and despair.

The condemned cell was most poignment for me, seeing the ghostly visage of a priest
dressed in his fine vestments and adorned in a rounded hat with a wide rim, as he stood
there washing his hands in a shinny silver bowl; shivers went through me, what of the
poor soul waiting to be escorted to the hangmans noose......

There was an air of expectation along with a sense of the sinister.......

The area of the hanging cell was particularly active once more, not only were there audible footsteps heard in the corridor outside, an intense bright light was witnessed by all in the cell itself, a few people were physically touched.

In the chapel area, the second group were holding their vigil and whilst conducting glass divination the door leading from the chapel to the cave area inexplicably closed under its own violition..... dare you visit the Galleries.

Well it has been an interesting year in which I have travelled across the country as an events medium for Frightnights. Working in the paranormal field and meeting a lot of very lovely people has been a very rewarding experience. To have helped some in their own efforts to further their own development and to have provided evidence of survival of death, along with the closure it has brought for them is truly an uplifting experience and would like to thank those people for allowing my own spirit to soar.

I have been working hard on my own mediumship asking my friends in spirit for the preverbial boot up the backside, should have known better, be careful what you ask for.

I also met and for a short time spent some time with a beautiful woman, alas it was not to work out, wishing her the best however.

This coming year promises to be one of achievement and builds upon the foundations laid this year.

I have recently visted the Hell Fire Caves at West Wycombe and to be honest it did not live upto the hype I had heard about. Clearly there are energies there, however it was not that active on my visit.

This being said however, there must be reasons for the hype, is it merely down to the fact that the members of the Hell Fire Club met there or something else. Please make a visit and come to your own conclusions.

Burton Court Manor

The spirit energy of a maid by the name of Margaret Cummins made her presence known to me. She was attired in a dark heavy dress and attired as a maid. Her build was fairly roomy and large busted and told me that she was an amicable woman and in a state of mourning, hence the black. There was a loud noise heard outside the room and heard by all in the room.

One of the more startling occurrences was the fact of one of the groups all reporting the visage of a person walking outside the doorway into the room. So real was this that the light coming in from the skylight opposite the door was blocked. People also reported that the person was carrying a light which gave off a bluish tinge.

Was this the spirit of Margaret Cummins, the maid in mourning? why not visit this location yourself on an organised paranormal event. I have to state that this venue is definately living up to its reputation of being Haunted - dare you enter

Buckingham Gaol

We did not come into this area on the walkabout due to its smaller size. As a smaller group however we came into the cell to conduct a vigil during the evening. We were not long in the cell before there was quite a loud noise, and we put it down to the fact that the door of the cell was not quite closed, essentially there is an inner and outer door, the inner one was not quite closed, so it could be attributed to this. One of the group remarked that their torch had been moved
whilst hanging at her hip, and a second person remarked at feeling quite sick.

There was the spirit energy of a policeman/prison guard wearing a long dark coat, and reminded me a little of the early peelers. He had dark hair, was clean shaven and of a tall thin build. He told me that he was a policeman, and then one of the group remarked that the prison had at one time been used as a police station at the time consummate with
the time period of the peelers. The spirit of the man told me his surname of Pritchard.

Whilst playing back the recording in order to type this report there is a distinctive knocking sound as if on a padded door and can be heard quite loudly and occurred 11 minutes into
the vigil itself. There was also a loud banging noise which we associated with the other vigil group being conducted in the bottom room, yet upon asking if they had banged any doors
and providing a time for this, they reported that no one had banged anything, though they had reported hearing a noise and associated it with us.

Having undergone development classes to further enhance my mediumship abilities, I can understand the frustration some people have at not being able to find a group nearby whereby they too can take their abilities further.

Over the past 13 years, I have both read and studied a wide range of material, along with serving many Spiritualist churches across a wide area of the country, and achieving certificates of recognition from the Spiritualist National Union (SNU) in both Demonstrating survival evidence and philosophy and more recently obtaining a Diploma of the basic foundations of Spiritualism. I thought it time to put my experience to a practical use and have over the past 18 months have been teaching mediumship, ranging from beginner through intermediate and advanced levels.

I currently teach from home and have recently joined the teaching team at Safe Haven Spiritual centre located in Dronfield.

After the group had had their walkabout and history tour of the building they were given some time to wonder around and take photographs and generally, get a better feel for the layout and of how they themselves felt in the various rooms.
It is worthy of note that one of the group had heard whispering in his ear and was
touched a number of times. Interestingly a second person independent of the first
person also had whispering in their ear. Further to this a person was also touched
in the downstairs room.

The room was quite well lit with light coming in from the streets area. We were joined by the spirit of a man who told me that he was a doctor when this was a hospital and made it quite clear that he was a medical doctor and not concerned with mental practices.

The doctor then mentioned the name Steve, who owned up to being a practicing mental nurse. The doctor commented on the fact that “Steve” was currently undergoing some educational course. He gave his name as Albert Mier and was educated at Cambridge. Steve at the time could not accept the information given, though contacted me via email and confirmed that he was in fact going through his preceptorship. Albert had then mentioned a person having a problem with their thumb on the right hand and mentioned joint articulation, one of the group acknowledged having problems with his right thumb.

Ghostly updates

Not been blogging for a little while, been very busy with my mediumship work, demonstrations and artwork both taking centre stage as it were. The world of ghost hunting is very popular during the months of October and through November, hence I have been a busy bee.

I have also visited Oxford castle and worked alongside Kieren O'kiefe and visited the very atmospheric Tissington Hall, Ahsbourne, Derbyshire, which promises to be an active location.

Warwick Castle 2nd October 2009

It was nice to once more return to this very atmospheric location that is Warwick Castle. This was my ninth visit to the castle, and each time it takes my breath away as the walls loom every higher as you approach, and the portcullis like the teeth of a shark – dare you enter.

A couple of people to the same area felt small breezes on their face or hands. There was a sudden shout from the middle area of the corridor, one of the group reported having felt a very
real and distinct grab to the bottom left of her leg, at about calf height. The look of the persons face said it all, tears streaming down their face, fright etched across their features, truly for them sound proof of an afterlife.

Coal House Fort

Coal House Fort is situated nearby East Tilbury Docks, a coastal fort for the defence of the Thames leading into the capital. The Fort has seen a lot of action, especially the first and second world wars.

Blue, red and black uniforms have been worn at the fort, each denoting a particular arm, gunnery, infantry and engineering.

I was expecting some activity, and was not disapointed.

On return from the car park after waiting a little while for late comers, I approached the entrance way into the inner fort, and saw before me the glint of a bright torch light moving closer towards my direction. No doubt someone coming to find me and continue with the nights proceedings - yet on rounding the corner, there was no one to be seen...... everyone I discovered were in the base room having a health and safety talk by the fort staff prior to starting a brief history tour - who therefore was responsible for the torch light I saw so clearly......

the event was quite active with the majority of people having undergone some type of experience. Most notibale was the clicking of the door in St Catherines room, yet the Minster room was full of intrigue, oppression, and lots of activity.

Some electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) was recorded in this room, and could only be replicated by physically punching the leather sofa adjacent to the table atop which the digital dictaphone was placed.

I would recommend this venue, if of course you are brave enough........

The workshop on Aura Art took place today 15th August 2009 at Mexborough Spiritualist Church, located on Bank Steet, Mexborough.

We were all nicely looked after with a nice spread being laid on for us, along with coffee and tea, thanks to the committee.

The workshop began with a theory period on the aura, followed by color interpretation and symbology. This was followed by a lot of practical work, having a look at some of my pre drawn aura artwork - then the group did drawings for each other.

The feedback was very positive with all people being quite suprised by the work they themselves were able to achieve. I believe some of the artwork will be appearing on their own website (http://www.mexboroughspiritualistchurch.co.uk/)

It was good to once more return to this location, the walkway between the two bars when in darkness is quiet foreboding for what in the shadows lurk......

Peckitt room

This room felt a lot different from both previous rooms and
was a lot smaller too and as we settled down, there was a
very loud and clearly audible noise from the adjoining
toilet. This was clearly heard by all in the room, and upon
closer inspection the room was found to be empty and no
plausible cause for it.

There was the residual energy of an elderly woman attired in
white garments, thin facial features, fair hair styled nicely, with
her dress coming high up on the neck line and a tight bodice. I
felt very peaceful in this room, as if the woman belonged here.
The perceptions were of her having done a lot of writing in this
Room. There were also the perceptions of sadness with this
woman as if her light was cut short. A number of people
reported as feeling distinctly ill at ease in this room. Again
there was a second noise from within the toilet area.

aura workshop

The workshop took place on 22nd Julay 2009 at Tattershal.

A good attendance and again met some wonderful people who were kean to explore the workings of the aura as well as looking forward to see what the progen 6000 aura camera would represent of their auras.

The evening began with a theory lesson, discussing the aura and how the various colour hues can be interpretated dependant upon its placement within the aura itself.

There was plenty of time for people to interact on a practical level with each person being afforded the opportunity to explore their own levels of sensitivity as they saw/felt the colour flows around a person and represented this onto an outlined drawing of a person and then discussed their findings with the person they were working with, some good feedback was provided.

The workshop then moved to the aura photography session, whereby each person in turn had their photograph taken and worked together to interpret their findings for each other.

Dreams

During our sleep states, as we drift through the various levels of consciousness, relaxing through the beta wave state of cognitive awareness, through to the alpha wave state where visions fleetingly pass before our inner eye, faces and landscapes come and go, both familiar and unfamiliar. As the mind quietens through into the low alpha to the theta wave, sleep encompasses us in a blanket of warmth, as we sink deeper into the delta wave of oblivion, were no memories stir or echoes reach the waking mind.

The concepts of mind body and spirit whereby each part plays an interlocking and integral role, each connected yet individual, a symbiosis of energy flows through the electrical and chemical processes inherent within the functionality of the physical body, the spirit within surging through giving life, animation to the mechanical parts, the seat of the consciousness, the awareness of self, the conscience.

Through the dream state we gain a glimpse of the inner self, the connectivity of mind body and spirit, as the pivotal bridge linking the cognitive reasoning to the seemingly chaotic symbolism of the unconscious mind, is forged allowing for the exchange of energy, of ideas, of dreams.

It is through the understanding of the mechanics behind the interpretation of the symbolism brought forth through the subconscious self that we gain a clearer insight as to what is occurring with and around us. How we see ourselves, how we think others see us, and of the flux of live evolving around us, through the interconnectivity of the universal mind.

The symbolism of the subconscious mind is by way of saying one thing through the representation of another, which can be seen through the symbology of the house. This simple object, drawn as a child, four windows, a door and a pathway, and in essence its symbology does stem from childhood as it is a basic representation of ourselves. How is the house represented, how many windows, are they clean or broken? What of the door! Is this open inviting access or shut away with no knocker of letter box? All have their individual representations as to how we feel others view us, the visage we are projecting to be seen. Colours and numbers are as equally important, though as you may expect are not necessarily as clear cut as we would like. We may see five yellow cars, or five white houses all in a row, the interpretation here is not the object, more so the occurrence, for numbers are not clearly depicted as within the reasoning of the cognitive self. As with colours, we may see an over abundance of one colour, everything projected within a hue of red, blue or green, each having their own significance to ourselves.

Through the study and interpretation of our dreams, we learn to more fully understand the emotional rivers running through our deeper subconscious mind, suppressed emotions, our drives and ambitions can manifest through the dream state, as such learning to listen to this inner communication we can better attune to the mind body and spirit.

I have once more embarked upon a dream diary, which offers a glimpse of what may come. The use of dream interpretation is thousands of years old, and is attested to in the book of Mathew.

Learning to tap into your dreams is fairly straightforward, the interpretations however are gained from experience. There are many books on the market today offering an interpretation of various symbolic meanings ranging from ants to zebras, though in all honesty learning what they mean to you is more important, after all it is your dream.

A couple of tips to start you off - have a pen and paper at hand when you retire to bed. though your partner may not be to pleased at the lights being switched on, so I would recommend a dictaphone.
Give yourself the autosuggestion to wake up when you have a dream. This takes practice, though we have all done it in the past, making sure we are up in the morning for that all important job interview or meeting; we wake minutes before the alarm.
Note the day and time of the dream, how you felt, the emotions your are and had felt in the dream. Try and recall everything no matter how mundane they may seem at the time, surroundings, countryside or city, was it day time, or night, was it dry or raining.
Go back to sleep and play the recording or read back your notes when you have the time. As such, over the next couple of weeks or months, you will see an unfolding pattern.

Mediumship Development

One avenue which has become open to me over this last year is that of tutoring. It is I suppose a natural evolement within my own development. If I am honest, I never really saw myself in this role, though over the preceeding years, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge, through the many courses undertaken with the Spiritualist National Union, and gained from the years of experience working around the country at various Spiritualist churches and within the Paranormal comunity.

I find a great sense of enjoyment upon seeing the faces of my students when they establish a viable link with the spirit world, the wonderment etched upon their features reminds me of how I felt upon my first tentative steps in mediumship, I NEVER cease being amazed at the love so clearly given from our loved ones, family and friends passed to the spirit side of life; and of course my friends who work so closely with me in the unfoldment of others.

My forray into the role of tutor began at my local Spiritualist church, a small circle built up into a group of friends, of which the bonds serve the common good. I have however moved to my own home, my garage having previously been converted into my workshop for my artwork and readings, and now serves as a teaching room. I am soon to start tutoring at safe haven in Dronfield (www.safehavenspiritual.com)

Psychic Art

My brand of psychic art is more commonly known as an auragraph, a symbolic representation of a person's aura in a pictorial form. It is however a side shoot from psychic art in which impressions being perceived by the psychic artist are drawn onto paper, in my case the impressions I receive are in the way of colour and symbolism.

I can honestly say that apart from having an appreciation of the colour of paper onto which to draw, along with the first pastel colour to be used, all else is unknown to me.

The drawing opposite is an example of my artwork, and bearing in mind that I have never received any formal art training is in itself a testiment to the patience and diligence of my inspirers working with me to effect the completed drawing.

I conduct regular public demonstrations of my artwork, which are completed before I attend the location, having no inclination of who each of the drawings are for, until I see them sat there, the commincation then poors forth.

Aura Photography

Aura photography is the process of measuring the distribution of energy within the light spectrum, as we are all encapsulated by an electro-magnetic energy field.

These frequencies are constantly changing and emitting radiations which fluctuate through a marginal differential. The vibrational energy changes are measured by two hand plate sensors, which correlate the vibrational differentials, which are then digitised through the aura camera and represented onto a Polaroid film as areas of differing colour hues. The image produced is a facsimile of the aura, as such it will not necessarily reproduce the aura as seen through a clairvoyant perspective.

I use the progen 6000 still aura camera, along with a professional black background and lighting, manufactured by Elinchrom and supplied by speedgraghic which allows me to produce professional quality aura photographs.

Teachings from William

My first book, Teachings From William, details informtion conveyed through a trance condition, essentially an altered state of awareness whereby William is able to gain a modicum of control over my own thought paternation thus impinge his own personality in order to convey information from what we as Spiritualists term the spirit world. There was also the spirit energy of a woman attired in a wimple
square to the top, and was red and green in colour and had very
heavy dresses. I was given the name of Ann and was told she
was of the Tudor period. We tried a little experiment whereby
we asked the spirit of Ann to interact with our volunteer, and
though nothing physically happened, Ann mentioned to me
that she would not due to not wanting to scare our volunteer
remarking that even the slightest touch would frighten her, and
that the volunteer does not want this. After commenting on this
to our volunteer they agreed that they did not want to be
touched out of fear.

I focused in this area for the vigils throughout the night.

I encouraged the group to interact with each other and in a
way to build up the energy levels in the room.

Ann made another appearance and once more we tried a
similar experiment with a different volunteer. It was not
long before the person suddenly remarked at having her
back poked and her bag moved slightly on her shoulder

I have visited this location on over 30 occassions and have in the main not been disapointed with the level of activity that has been experienced.

As you walk up through the Queen Mary gate, the towers present an imposing facade and set the scene for the entire night. The triple gateway for me, has my hair standing on end as I approach and upon rounding the corner and looking towards what I term as the Monks gate, a little apprehension grips me, my heart pounding, for in the distance and without fail in a robed figure beckoning me onwards...........
